Our annual Community Investment campaign supports the core priorities of a Scottsdale Prep education:
Average class size of 20 students
Recruitment and retention of first-rate faculty
Dedicated teachers that teach an average of 80 students per day versus the district average of 135 - with twice the time dedicated to instructional preparation.
The per-student state contribution does not cover the costs of these non-negotiable elements of our mission (leaving Scottsdale Prep with an annual per-student shortfall of approximately $1,500). Scottsdale Prep asks its families to support these essentials of excellence through the Community Investment campaign.

The Arizona Public School Tax Credit program allows all Arizona taxpayers to donate to Scottsdale Prep's many extracurricular programs and receive a dollar for dollar credit from their state tax liability. The maximum credit is $400 per family filing jointly and $200 for single filers. We ask every SPA family to take advantage of this tax credit and to help friends and family to do the same. Tax Credit contributions for 2009 must be postmarked to SPA by 12/31/2009.
